Karaoke: Sing along now
There is a new feature in the soundtrack section: karaoke. For selected songs from every soundtrack, the lyrics are now shown in their own band underneath the visualizer – line by line, so you can sing along. It is not an exact sync, but the lyrics roughly keep pace with the music, which is enough to follow along comfortably. Here is how it works: start a track that has karaoke, open the visualizer in the player and switch on the lyrics. If you want to sing along, just read; if you would rather just watch, you can turn the lyrics off at any time. Tapping the picture freezes the display so you can read at your own pace – when playback continues, the text follows again. And if you want to scroll while singing, simply swipe up or down through the lines. You hear a song differently when you sing it out loud. So: headphones on, pick your favourite track, switch the lyrics on – and sing your own version of Jaxon Hall. We would love to hear which song you sing along to the loudest.
